Hi again! It’s time to announce Brytnie Ann Photography Magazine’s submission themes for January!
First theme is Color! As we go through the year, we’re going to focus on specific colors and what they bring to a photo. To get this started, we just want to see what you have. Make one color a focus, make a rainbow the focus. It’s your interpretation. But whatever you do, when we look at the photo, color should come to mind as the focus the point! These should be a lot of fun to start off our magazine.
Second theme is Eyes. Let’s see some close-ups of those gorgeous eyes out there. So often in photography, we focus on the big picture. We forget how striking those close-ups can be. As we go through the year, we’re going to see different close-ups and the detail and beauty within these.
Third theme is Emotions. A picture says 100 words, so let’s capture the emotion in this. Get creative, we don’t want to feature 8 smiling photo sets no matter how beautiful those photos are. Let’s see what kind of photos we can get.
Final monthly theme is Poverty. Each month we’re going to have a photo series that hits something rough or shows support. This may be harder to photograph, but let’s challenge each other to stretch ourselves and capture what poverty means.
Don’t forget, each month has our edgy and nerdy girls and guys as well!
I can’t wait to see what submissions we get! Don’t waste any time, get those submissions in so we can start posting some teasers!
